About Us

Give Back to School was founded in 2024 by Virginia Aranda, a passionate leader who was born and raised in Dangriga, Belize. Growing up in Dangriga, Virginia experienced first-hand the challenges that limited resources can have on obtaining a quality education. Virginia is driven by the vison that a quality education begins with providing students the tools needed to learn. 

Throughout her life, Virginia has committed her time, resources, and energy into supporting Dangriga. This commitment has allowed her to develop an expansive network of people and businesses that share her vision of improving the learning environment for primary age school children. For the pilot project, Give Back to School received 43 individual donations to purchase 100 fans that were distributed to 13 primary schools in southern Belize. These donations illustrate the broad interest within the Belizean community to improve school learning conditions.

Give Back to School plans to build on this success by delivering desks, projectors, water bottle installation systems, tablets, and other essentials to these schools. Longer term, Give Back to School will expand their reach to include other districts throughout Belize.
